Before your treatment

1 week before: avoid products that increase skin sensitivity for 5–7 days (retinoids, tretinoin, glycolic acid, salicylic acid and other exfoliants).
Avoid laser procedures, chemical peels and unprotected sun exposure for 2 weeks.
Don’t wax, use hair removal creams or have electrolysis on the treatment area for 5–7 days.
If you bruise easily, consider taking Arnica tablets 3–7 days prior.
3 days before: stop blood-thinning medications or supplements such as aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil or vitamin E.
Keep your skin well hydrated by moisturizing regularly.
Don’t book treatment if you have active acne, cold sores or a skin infection in the treatment area.

On the Day

On the day

Arrive with clean, makeup-free skin.
Don’t apply any skincare products, creams or SPF before treatment.
Eat a light meal and stay hydrated before your appointment.

After Treatment

Caring for your skin

Right after: redness, sensitivity and a mild sunburn-like feeling are normal and may last 24–72 hours.
Use a cold compress if needed (don’t apply ice directly to the skin), and change your pillowcase that night.
First 24–72 hours: use only the gentle, hydrating products we recommend or provide.
Avoid makeup for at least 24–48 hours, and don’t touch, pick or scratch the treated area.
Avoid strenuous exercise, heavy sweating, saunas, steam rooms, hot tubs and swimming.
Days 3–7: some dryness or flaking may occur — don’t pick or exfoliate.
Avoid actives such as retinol, glycolic acid and vitamin C until skin has fully healed.
Ongoing: apply a broad-spectrum SPF 30+ daily and book follow-up treatments as recommended, typically every 4–6 weeks.
