You may feel a slight pinch or gentle heat depending on the thickness of your hair but this just means the laser is working properly! We use a zimmer which blows cold air on the skin during the whole treatment – allowing it to be very comfortable.
Laser hair removal works best on dark, coarse hair. It is not effective on very light hair types such as gray, white, blonde, or red hair, as these hairs lack enough pigment for the laser to target.
It is also less effective on very fine, light hairs (often called peach fuzz or vellus hair) since they do not absorb enough energy to be permanently reduced.
