What Does the Treatment Look Like?

A Pink Intimate treatment is a quick, non-invasive process where the area is gently cleansed and a brightening solution is carefully applied in layers to lighten and rejuvenate the skin. The treatment is comfortable, requires no downtime, and takes roughly 30 mins - 1 hour.

What areas can i treat?

Areas that can be treated include the bikini line, labia, perianal area, underarms, inner thighs, nipples/areola, and other delicate areas with uneven pigmentation.

Appointment Prep & Post-Care

Before visiting Velour for your Intimate lightening series of treatments, there are a few steps you need to take to ensure optimal treatment results!

Before treatment

Avoid sun exposure, tanning beds, and self-tanner for 2–4 weeks before treatment.
Stop using active ingredients (retinoids, AHAs, BHAs, exfoliants, benzoyl peroxide) for 7 days prior.
Do not wax, shave, or undergo laser/chemical peels in the area for 5–7 days before treatment.
Ensure the skin is free of irritation, cuts, or active infections.
Inform your provider of any new medications, allergies, or skin changes.

On the day of treatment

Arrive with clean skin—no lotions, oils, deodorants, creams, or perfumes on the area.
Wear loose, breathable clothing to minimize friction afterward.
Avoid strenuous exercise, heat, or sweating before your appointment.
If treating the bikini area while menstruating, please use a tampon or menstrual cup.

After treatment

Expect mild redness or sensitivity for a few hours.
Avoid heat, friction, sweating, tight clothing for 24-48 hours
Keep the area clean, dry, and avoid touching or rubbing it.
Do not use active ingredients (retinoids, AHAs, BHAs, acids, exfoliants) for 1 week
Apply only the soothing or hydrating products recommended by your provider.
Avoid sun exposure, and once the area has healed, use SPF daily.
